ARCHIVE NOTES
About the Archive
The Artifacts Archive was established in 2023 by an unnamed collective of designers, fabricators, and "temporal recovery specialists." Our mission: to catalog, preserve, and study objects that were never supposed to be made.
Each artifact in this collection represents a design principle pushed beyond its logical conclusion — a logo that works at any scale, an interface with no dark patterns, a chair that knows you're coming. These aren't just projects. They're proof that good design exists in every timeline.
We don't create artifacts. We recover them. We document them. We make sure they're not forgotten. We also provide free coffee. The coffee is normal. We think.
Staff Testimonials

"The box fit my lunch. Then my laptop. Then my existential dread. I'm not returning it."— J. Okonkwo, Artifact Handler
"I typed my name in the font. For a moment I understood who I was. Then it was gone. Anyway, I need Friday off."— R. Chen, Typographic Analyst
